The arrival of COVID-19 has caused us all to shift to a new normal, and that includes Healing Balance Massage and the practices I now comply with to ensure everyone’s safety.
I want to help protect you and our community in this current, uncertain situation. I promise that I have been doing all I can to socially distance myself from others, and limiting my time around people when circumstances bring me into contact with them. This is a very challenging time, and I want to help reassure each one of my clients that their health and safety is my top priority. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.
I follow CDC and DOH guidelines, which includes taking the below precautions:
A WARM WELCOME
Lynn Short, licensed massage therapist, tailors your massage session to your unique needs.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage is one of the most effective techniques to decrease chronic pain, muscular fatigue and to assist with injury recovery.
Gua Sha involves use of rounded edged instruments to palpate and massage the deeper muscle layers. It is helpful in relieving soreness and increasing range of motion.
This treatment helps to keep an athlete in top form, increase stamina, prevent injury and/or aid the body to recover more quickly from strenuous physical exertion.
Hot Stone Massage
Heated smooth river stones are used to lay upon the body and as massage tools themselves which helps to deeply relax the underlying muscles.
Whether stationary or moved along a muscle/joint, the suction cup can reduce swelling, decrease pain, release fascia and muscular tension. The cups can be applied to anywhere on the body, even the face and jaw.
